POSITIONS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE:

Position: J2EE Lead Developer
Role Description: You will be working for a small but growing Travel Technology company developing travel e-commerce websites integrated with external web services and a CRM, CMS and Reservation back-office.
The role calls for someone who has a good level of experience of Web development, managing the database architecture, Server Side knowledge/ development within a J2EE environment and ability to take the lead in a small development team.

Must have a computer science or related degree and minimum 4 years commercial experience in developing Client Server applications and Web applications based on J2EE platform using different database servers. Must have excellent experience in JBOSS application server, database and J2EE design skills, good knowledge of EJB, Servlets, XML/XSLT, SOAP, Web services, Apache, Struts and MySQL.

You must have been involved in full life cycle of web development projects within an Agile or RUP framework, have a keen interest in new technology and demonstrate leadership skills.
Knowledge of Jasper Reports (or any other open source reporting tool) would be an advantage.
The individual must be a team player but able to work individually with initiative.

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full Time

Salary: $TBD per annum

Education: Computer Science degree or related

Position: Testing Analyst

Role Description: This is a hands-on role and involves developing and operating a testing methodology, creating test plans, select & implement appropriate manual & automated testing tools, testing development code, JSP pages and Webservices, coordinating client/user testing and producing outcome reports.

You must have experience liaising directly with the Developers, explaining and replicating where something is going wrong. You must also have experience liaising directly with clients to conduct user testing. You will need to be confident under pressure and capable of working alone

Suitable candidates will have: minimum 2 years testing experience. Knowledge in one of these languages of these languages; JavaScript, Java and NET. Excellent communication skills. Any experience working within a web software development company and with automated open-source testing tools would be an advantage. The individual must be a team player but able to work individually with initiative.
